Claiborne Healthcare Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to support specific capital projects identified by the Foundation Board that compliment the mission of Homer Memorial Hospital, offering compassionate, quality healthcare to every citizen of our community regardless of their ability to pay. The Foundation provides an avenue for community involvement, public education and philanthropic giving for the purpose of enhancing the healthcare services of Homer Memorial Hospital and sustaining these services for future generations. Contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible and every dollar given is used to support a project, program or service identified as a top priority.
The Foundation, comprised of community volunteers, is dedicated to serving our community. Our members strive to develop a closer affiliation between the hospital and our community through communication, educational programs and fundraising. By working in collaboration with the community, we can provide services, which result in measurable health improvements for all.

The Annual Gifts Club builds the base of support for Claiborne Healthcare Foundation through a variety of programs which encourage entry level giving and recognizes those who make an annual gift, ranging from $100 to $1,000 per year.
The Hospital Family/Employee Giving Club, DANCE, promotes, encourages and coordinates employee giving through payroll deductions and/or monthly cash gifts. The club name stands for Developing And Nurturing Caring Employees and signifies the team spirit and family atmosphere of Homer Memorial Hospital employees.
Business Partners consists of business donors interested in ensuring local, quality healthcare for their employees and respective families. Their gifts over a three year period range from $3,000 and above.
The Planned Gifts Club has been formed to express appreciation to those individuals who choose to designate the Foundation through an endowment or planned gift. A planned gift could be an outright bequest of monies, stocks, securities, a gift created in trust or charitable life insurance.
The Special Gifts Club is an elite representation of community members who have an active interest and commitment to the promotion of quality healthcare. They make an individual commitment of $10,000 or more to Claiborne Healthcare Foundation, payable at one time, or over a period of three years.
Signature Gifts is the highest level of giving and is priceless in terms of what it means to Homer Memorial Hospital. For gifts of $100,000 or more, naming opportunities are available to honor a loved one or recognize one's generosity.
Gifts of Tribute provide an avenue to donate any amount to the Foundation either In Memory of or In Honor of someone. You might want to celebrate a happy occasion, remember the loss of a loved one, express appreciation for special services, honor past and present military service, pay tribute on Mother's Day or Father's Day, etc. Each gift will be appropriately acknowledged by the Foundation to the donor and recipient or family while keeping the amount of your gift confidential.
